Having said that, we as Christians, should not be so quick to judge a pastor. First and foremost, we need to pray for the pastor and then take Biblical steps as led by God's Word to resolve the situation.
"Contrary to expectations, Apostle Mason Betha made a statement that raised suspicions amongst his church members. ‘’Too bad I don’t never keep my word,’’ the pastor said eventually after fierce allegations were made against him by his flock for being a sanctimonious person. The eminent pastor-cum-rapper, also known as Ma$e, referred to the incident as a tricky situation.
Pastor Mason is the 36-year-old youthful chaplain at El Elyon International Church who has gone back to his teenage lifestyle of a bad boy rapper which he had earlier publicly declared evil."Mason recently divorced his wife of 12 years in a discreet lawsuit. Now, as Christians, we love when people come to Christ, and desire to serve him as he is led by the holy spirit. However, pastors have an important job and should want to do "right" and not be a minister while, at the same time, live a life unbecoming to his office. Congregants look to the pastor as an example. Church attendees want an empathetic pastor who understands their struggle and circumstances.
Again we as Christians, should not be so quick to judge a pastor. The church needs to be led by God's word and in His love. As a result, of a taped lesson on which Pastor Manson allegedly said: ‘’Too bad I don’t never keep my word,"’the clergy stipulates that he believes God called him from the bad boy rapper mentality, a lifestyle he has, at the moment, re-embraced. Most of these allegations are coming from the Church members, Mason's side of the alleged behavior has not yet been made public.
