Blasphemy In Pakistan Will Still Get You a Death Sentence.

A Christian couple in Gorjra, Pakistan, Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kausar, sentenced to death last week, for blasphemy, seek an appeal.

During the trial a cell phone "Sim card,"also known as a memory card, contained messages that spoke against, Muhammad, the Muslim (false) prophet. The Christian couple's lawyer, Nadeem Hussein, denied the "sim card" belonged to the accused couple. In addition, their lawyer said the case was based on a personal grudge against the Christians. The 'sim card' presented did not have a phone, of which, it came. That in and of itself is suspicious.

Sometime last year, Maulvi Mohammad Hussain, a Muslim elder filed a complaint against Emmanuel, alleging he used his wife's cell phone to send unbecoming messages concerning the (false) Prophet Muhammad. At the time, the couple denied the allegations. Moreover, during a trial steadfastly denied the charges.

And still, they were convicted and sentenced to death. Now, in America we have people complain religious freedom is under attack. However, I bet these Pakistani Christians would tell us otherwise.
