If there's one thing House Republicans love talking about, it is Benghazi. About how the White House attempted to cover up a failure in policy. Of which left Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans dead. And even though there was no cover up, a new e-mail appears to suggest the White House did throw a couple rearranged a few words. However, in the context the e-mails were not talking specifically about the Benghazi attack, rather the situation throughout the region over an anti-Mohammad movie; Muslims felt disrespected by the film.
Thus, there were protests throughout the Middle East specifically in Egypt.
Let House Republicans tell it, this e-mail proves there was a cover-up by the White House, when in reality there was no cover-up. Republicans are using this tragedy to confuse their base into despising Democrats.
"California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff said Democrats should refuse to participate in the House Republicans’ latest investigation into the 9/11/2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, calling it “a colossal waste of time.”
“We’ve had four bipartisan investigations of this already,” Schiff said on Fox News Sunday. “The Republican conference is so fractured there’s really only two things they agree on. They don’t like “Obamacare,” and we’ve had 50 votes on that, and they do like talking about Benghazi, so we’ve had four investigations on that. But I don’t think it makes sense, really, for Democrats to participate. I think it’s a tremendous red herring and a waste of taxpayer resources. (1).”
