The Syrian refugee crisis isn't just about people crossing a border. Accepting refugees is a humanitarian issue. But, make no mistake, no one wants terrorists to slip through the cracks. We don't need their Jihad in the 'Land of the Free.' We, as Americans, should be working in conjunction with Arab allies to destroy these monsters. However, one cannot kill an idea, a particular inteIf only Christian refugees can come into the US, that would exclude Jesus. He was a Jew.rpretation of religion. Many Christians such as David Wood will tell you the Koran demands Muslims to carry out Jihad. But, like the Bible, much of the text shouldn't be interpreted as literal rather spiritual. You see, there's a stark contrast between taking religious text literal versus spiritually.
In terrific news, Washington state takes a stand against fear and for compassion. I am proud of my Washington State Gov. Inslee for doing what's morally right.
Growing up in Washington State, I didn't see it as a welcoming place for minorities. But, with the wise elected leaders things can change. A system once corrupt can develop a balance between fairness and reasonable equality, and compassion for the less fortunate. As of late, many Republican governors exchanged freedom for fear. You see these governors letting the terrorists legitimize their cause of robbing freedom from the free. Cowering in fear, yet claiming political correctness is obsolete.
It's as though conservatives blame all Muslims for the actions of a few, who are in hell as I write this. When that monster Christoper Columbus ransacked America, that all white people should pay for it? Or, slavery because of the inhumane ISIL like treatment to blacks, they should say all whites are evil terrorists like the KKK or the Christian Identity; a white Christian Denomination who believe the only chosen people are white. This ideology is in America today, not 40 years ago, but today. While ensuring terrorists aren't coming into the country, it is just imperative we destroy white supremacy/black supremacy. So, common ground.
