Trump Addressed The Nation On Thursday On The Parkland, Florida Massacre Without Mentioning Gun Control
Donald Trump on Thursday offered nothing less than a wink at the NRA and other gun-rights advocates during his press conference offering apathetic condolences to the people of Parkland, Florida. On Wednesday, a Nikolas Cruz entered a Florida high school shooting 17 dead injuring dozens more. And, scaring survivors for life. Trump avoided the topic of gun violence or common sense reform on his Thursday address to the nation. Offering "thoughts and prayers" are essential, and no one should mock that, but we need action. It's only a matter of time before a mass shooting rattles your community.
